EMBCA Presents Archiving the Hellenic American Experience in The 21st Century.

The distinguished presenters were Professor Kitroeff of Haverford College, George Tselos the Chief Archivist of Ellis Island and Professor Alexiou of Queens College. In addition, the Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic Alexis Tsipras also attended and spoke at the event. We are proud to have awarded five (5) $1,000 scholarships that evening to be given to students of Queens College per Prof. Alexiou and his committee’s choice and recommendation. Many apologies to those who because of the overwhelming response to the event could not attend but enclosed find the recently uploaded video of the event. Enjoy.
